1 page, folio, 7 7/8 x 12 in., on ruled blue paper, old creases with discoloration, occasional toning. Undersigned. Docketed to verso. 

A manuscript deed of gift from William Byrd "in consideration of the natural love and affection which he has and bares for his son the said J.H. Byrd...assigns forever a certain negro Boy named Charles."
