Qing Dynasty (1644-1912)
清 爐鈞釉金彩菩薩像
the deity depicted kneeling on a single lotus plinth with the left leg raised and both hands held in front of the chest, wearing a draped dhoti, a loose waist band and a shawl opening to the chest, the bare upper body adorned with elaborate beaded jewelry, the face having a benevolent expression, all hair pulled to a high chignon secured by a five-leaf tiara, the lotus base, the cloth and the jewelry enameled in robin's egg, the face, the arms and the torso gilded.
