A Pair of Ruby-Back Famille Rose Porcelain Cups

18th Century

清中期胭脂紅釉福桃紋萬壽無疆杯一對
each well-potted cup is decorated to the center of the interior with a peach depicting the characters Wan Shou Wu Jiang, which can be translated as ‘long life without end'. The exterior is covered with a finely mottled enamel of ruby-pink tone.

Diameter of each 3 in., 7.6 cm.
