Ming Dynasty (1368-1644)
明 青花釉裏紅魚紋盤
the interior center of the fish decorated with four copper red fish interspersed with foliate scrolls and plants, the wide rim with four shaped panels each enclosing a floral sprig above an band of interlocking T's, the reverse with further plants and foliate sprigs, bearing a Chenghua six-character mark within a double ring in underglaze blue.

Condition Report
In overall good stable condition, with some scant fleabites about the perimeter glaze (1, 4, 9, 10 o'clock), the footring with an angular chip at the interior wall (11 o'clock) and some opposing fleabites nibbled loss. Examination under UV light shows no signs of restoration. Please refer to additional images available upon request.
