A George III Style Mahogany Breakfront Cabinet
20th Century
Overall height 81 1/2 x width 74 3/4 x depth 15 3/4 inches.
Condition Report
In overall fine and stable condition. Few areas of old scuffs, marks and scratches. Appears to retain its original finish. Second half of the 20th Century. A key is retained for the cupboards, and it functions. The cabinet retains one wood shelf per top section. There are no shelves for the lower cupboards. The cabinet comes apart into two sections, top and bottom.
Chest, height 34 1/8 x width 72 1/2 x depth 15 3/4 inches; Cabinet, height 47 1/4 x width 74 3/4 x depth 14 3/4 inches. The top edge of the doors in the upper case end approx. 5 1/2” below the top of the case.
The top surface of the bottom section has scratches at either end and two dowels at either end that the top fit onto.
