Lot Description
An American Silver Five-Piece Tea and Coffee Service with Matching Tray
Gorham Mfg. Co., Providence, Rhode Island, Circa 1896 to 1898
comprising a kettle on stand, coffee pot, tea pot, cream pitcher and lidded sugar bowl.
with floral decoration, chased by Nicholas Heinzelman (1837-1900).
each marked Sterling with maker's mark, date mark, sample number 7149 and monogram to underside.
tray with special order number A7443.

Tray 31 x 19 inches.

Condition Report
Tray dated 1898; set dated 1896.
Tray: scattered pitting throughout, but particularly heavy in one corner. Expected scratches to underside of tray, and a small repair to one corner.
Scratches to interior of each piece in set. Handle is detached on one side, just above hinge. 
Kettle: Resolder to joint of kettle leg interior and arm of burner.
Coffee pot: Two small nicks to lid rim.
