both stamped R&W Wilson on underside.

James Hepburn Dundas (1786-1865) was a prominent figure in the commercial and financial circles of Philadelphia and served as President of Pennsylvania Bank. In 1830, he purchased the site known as Lafayette Vauxhall Garden, at the intersection of Broad and Walnut Streets, and built the famous Dundas-Lippincott Mansion, also known as "the Yellow Mansion."
