11 albumen photographs, ranging in size from 9 3/4 x 6 1/4 in. to 10 1/4 x 6 3/4 in., on 17 x 12 in. cardstock mounts (toning to prints; corner and edge wear to mounts, including short tears and some chipping). Most scenes with manuscript identifications on mounts, many written in French. Identified locations include: The White House. -- The Capitol Building, Washington, DC. -- The Smithsonian Institution, Washington, DC. -- State, War, & Navy Building, Washington, DC. -- General Post Office, Washington, DC. -- Corcoran Art Gallery, Washington, DC. -- Residence of Mr. Peck, Chicago, IL. -- Niagara Falls. -- Unidentified view, possibly a second image of Niagara Falls. -- View of Montreal. -- Scene after painting of the Corsican going down rapids, Montreal, credited in the negative to Notman & Sandham, 1878.
