Harry Truman For President. N.p., [1948]. Approx. 11 1/4 x 4 5/8 in. blue felt pennant printed in white, with white felt border (minor soil). A smaller version of Threads of History 1259. -- The Inauguration of President Truman January 20th, 1949. N.p., 1949. 27 1/2 x 11 1/8 in. blue felt pennant printed in white, red, and peach, with white felt border, and red felt tassels (lacking one set of tassels). Threads of History 1276. -- Together, 2 pennants.
[With:] 15 tickets to speeches and Truman's 1949 Inauguration. -- 5 items campaign ephemera. -- 1 sample ballot. -- 1947 Christmas calendar booklet. -- 6 invitiations, including to the Inauguration. -- 6 menus, including the Inauguration and three Jefferson Jackson Day Dinners. -- 7 pamphlets and publications. -- Together, 40 items, condition generally very fine.
