Johnson expresses his appreciation for the kind words from Mr. Watson, noting "...while I am around I'll be happier because you took the time to say such kind and cheering things." Letter mounted above accompanying mailing envelope which bears Johnson's engraved free frank signature ("Lyndon B. Johnson") at top right corner. With copy image of Johnson.
