Fontana Sisters Coat, 1950-60s

Black silk velvet coat with crew neckline, long sleeves, full body, and center front hook and eye closure. The neckline is embellished with an attached cape embroidered with of thick rope and black beads. The same embroidery is repeared in a panel around the hem. The black lining is woven with the name "Fontana".

Condition:

The overall condition is good with two pin holes in the lining on the back, several loose beads in the embroidered panels and minor wear near the hooks and eyes.
