Three Norman Norell Items: Jacket, Skirt Ensemble, Dress, 1960s

This lot contains one dress, one jacket, and one two-piece ensemble. The brown dress features an accession BM67.245.38 and the letters FIT, suggesting this piece was once in the collection at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York.

THE FIRST
Red thick crepe cropped jacket with notched lapel, set-in long sleeves, and center front large button closure. The jacket is fully lined.

THE FIRST
The overall condition is good. There are small holes in the lining along the neckline, hem, and armscyes. There is also minor discoloration in the lining along the armscyes and alone the hem.

THE SECOND
The overall condition is fair with some over-pressing throughout, loose stitching on the skirt waist and lining, some wear around the armholes, and some minor discoloration under each arm.

THE THIRD
The overall condition is good with the top button detached but kept with the dress. Outside of that, this dress is in very good conditionn.
