Lot Description
12 Chinese and Japanese Porcelain Vessels
comprising two Chinese famille rose porcelain vases, three jars, two pots, four bowls and one Japanese vase. The first Chinese famille rose porcelain vase having an ovoid body flanked by a pair of gilt highlighted elephant head-form handles and mock rings, painted with lotus scrolls, the underside bearing an apocryphal Yongzheng four-character blue enameled mark; the second famille rose vase of pear-shaped body with reticulated walls, painted lotus scrolls against a yellow ground, the underside bearing an apocryphal Qianlong six-character underglaze blue mark.
