Condition Report
Framed: 27 1/2 x 22 1/2 inches.
Canvas is lined and margins are trimmed; moderate deposits of surface dirt and dust; paint surface is pressed from lining process; faint stretcher bar marks around image perimeter; network of stable craquelures throughout, with inpainting visible under normal viewing conditions, primarily in the upper right corner and lower center, within the horizon; paper tape applied to canvas edges; one horizontal scratch to the varnish in the upper right corner, no greater in length than 2 inches; one vertical scratch to varnish along extreme center left edge, no greater in length than 4 1/2 inches. Under UV light: greenish varnish layer prohibits viewing of possible inpainting; however, some inpainting is visible in the lower center within the water; one small dot of inpainting in center, above the horizon; some possible inpainting in grass along lower left corner.
