Framed: 40 1/2 x 35 1/4 inches.
Canvas is lined; moderate deposits of surface dirt and dust; pinpoint black stains scattered throughout background; minor frame abrasions along the upper edge; small spots of inpainting visible under normal viewing condition in the woman's right cheek, as well as small spots of inpainting in the lower right corner. Under UV light: small strokes of inpainting in the background above the woman's head; two small spots in the woman's right cheek, as well as a small line of inpainting to the right of her nose; small strokes of inpainting in her neck, dress collar, and shoulders; small spots of inpainting along the right edge; one area of inpainting in the lower center left, between her arm and torso; several small dots of inpainting in the center left.
