FIRST EDITION of one of the first major scholarly studies of the post-Revolutionary period in the Mississippi Valley. Robertson compiled, translated, and annotated various previously unpublished accounts from his contemporaries, including Dr. Paul Alliot as well as accounts from Spanish, French, and American government representatives during their respective periods of control over the region.
