An Egyptian Bronze and Alabaster Ibis
Late Period to Ptolemaic Period, 664-30 B.C.
Length 2 3/4 inches (7 cm).

Condition Report
Inspected under UV light and 10x loupe. Ibis is separated from modern legs which are attached to the stand. Tail is missing. Some malachite encrustration to bronze. No signs of bronze disease. Bronze acetone tested without lifting. Top of beak appears to be a modern restoration with resin. Areas of encrustration, scratches, and pitting on alabaster. Overall in fine and attractive condition. Height with stand 3 3/4 inches (9.5 cm).
