2 1/8 x 3 3/8 in. CDV on cardstock mount (light toning, spotting throughout, with pinhole to upper left and wear to edges and corners; verso with some paper/adhesive residue to upper edge and light surface loss to bottom edge). Credited to Brady on mount recto and verso.
Custer is featured sitting in a fringed studio chair, wearing his major general uniform and hat and looking off camera. Image cataloged in Katz (K-78, p. 62).
