9 x 6 1/2 in. photograph on cardstock mount (rich tonality, very good condition overall; light corner wear to mount). Captioned, numbered 478, and copyrighted by Grabill in the negative. Applied paper label to verso provides additional information regarding Mrs. Canuteson, "familiarly known as 'the bullwhackeress' in the operation of cutting an ox in two with a whip."
