Lot Description
[CIVIL WAR]. A group of 24 stereoviews featuring scenes around Virginia including artillery, fortifications, Confederate prisons, and other subjects. Hartford, CT: Taylor & Huntington, ca 1890s.

Approx. 6 1/4 x 3 1/8 in. stereoviews on oversized, orange cardstock mounts (light toning to prints, wear to edges and corner including one view with some tearing to top edge of mount, else good). All from Taylor & Huntington's "War for the Union, Photographic War History" series, comprised of images spanning from 1861-1865, taken primarily from negatives attributed to Mathew Brady and Alexander Gardner.
