7 x 13 " manuscript accounting of stores from the 24th LA turned over to the LA Crescent regiment; two Certificates of Disability for Discharge for soldiers of the Crescent regiment; copy of manuscript Special Order #24 whereby Captain David Collie of the Consolidated Crescent Regiment is appointed to a court martial; a copy of a letter from Louisiana Militia Commander John L. Lewis to Colonel Numa Augustin, regarding the inclusion of foreign nationals in Confederate service in the early days of the war; and a group of approx. 21 pre-printed Confederate clothing manifests, many for the Consolidated Crescent regiment.
[With:] "New Orleans Sugar" merchant's broadside, approx. 5 x 7 in., offering at auction sugar to be sold on 30 March 1861. -- Home Mutual Insurance of New Orleans leather bound folio with tipped in Marine Insurance policy showing insurance policy for goods shipped out of New Orleans in sailing or steam ships, 1864.
