Profusely illustrated with several colored maps of various townships and renderings of many towns, boroughs, private residences and farms. The atlas also contains a "business directory" listing the businesspeople in the county in 1876, many referencing the dates they settled in Washington Co. (some toning, occasional spotting, some with chipping and edge wear; Amwell Township map fully separated at fold, with chipping and brittleness to edges). First two pages illustrated with renderings of "Dry Goods Store of A.B. Caldwell, Washington, PA," and "Interior View of A.B. Caldwell's Dry Goods Store, Washington, PA" (soiling to each, loss to edges, with what appears to be some repairs to edges).
