鄭寶南（1910-1990）号南生，祖籍番禺，生于南京。1925-32年留学英美，歸國后供職於國民政府外交部。抗戰時派驻纽约总领馆擔副领事，兼美國醫藥助華會駐重慶代表，及國際宣傳處駐芝加哥辦事處主任。1945年抗戰勝利後代表國民政府供職聯合國，歷任救濟總署代表，人權委員會中國代表，經濟、社會理事會中國代表，聯合國大會代表等職。1962年-64年及1967-72年兩度任駐聯合國日內瓦辦事處大使銜主任。1972年起，任行政院新聞局駐英國倫敦辦事處主任。晚年退居台灣。
鄭氏一生出使外洋無數，鑒藏印“足跡英美法意瑞德昆菲諸國”可見一斑。所蓄藏品皆爲同輩名家所贈。鄭氏遺女久居芝加哥，十年前我司受委托釋出藏瓷，今次釋出所餘。
