A Louis XV Walnut Commode
18th Century
Height 33 1/2 x width 51 x depth 26 1/2 inches.
This lot is located in Chicago.
Condition Report
Appears in overall fairly good, stable, and ready to place condition. The commode exhibits old scuffs, scrapes, dings, and wear commensurate with age. The top having a number of darkened scrapes from age and use. The commode with small areas of worming to the front and more moderate worming to the back. One of the carved scroll decorative elements at the proper left side of the apron is slightly loose, potentially resulting from worming.
