Lot Description
A Chinese Archaistic Bronze Two-Part Steamer, Yan 
青銅甗
the upper section a bowl-shape zeng, flanked by a pair of loop handles with beast heads; the lower section a li vessel also with a pair of loop-form handles, cast overall with stylized sinuous dragons. 
Height 16 in., 40.64 cm.

Condition Report
Weight 18 3/4 in.

Entire with encrusted green patina; possible dents and wear; the upper half with two restored cracks at the rim, the longer one approx. 2 1/2 inches long and the upper section with possible restoration to one side; the lower section with some chips and losses to the lip; possibly lacking original loose ring handles; the lower portion with restoration to one side, including to a crack on the side and a hole on one leg, and each leg with restored break.
