Two Sèvres Bisque Porcelain Busts
Circa 1884
depicting Louis Desaix and Jean Baptiste Kleber, both raised on a gilt-decorated cobalt blue porcelain socle stamped with red Doré à Sèvres 84 and green S 83 marks and incised JB 83 -7(?) to the underside; both with a painted and parcel-gilt carved wood stand.
Height of Desaix overall 16 x width of shoulders 10 1/2 inches; height of Kleber overall 15 1/4 x width of shoulders 10 1/2 inches.
