IN AN EXCEPTIONAL MODERN BINDING BY RENEÉ HAAS, executed by Vernier and Ribal, likely Haas's interpretation of Léger's full-page woodcut in Chapter II of Malraux's work. Haas produced very few bindings for select clients, and her work is therefore very rare on the market.
