3 3/16 x 1 15/16 in. (light soiling, spots of discoloration).  

BRADY, Mathew (1822-1896), photographer. Seated portrait of General Lee wearing civilian attire and sitting in an ornate armchair (good tonality, some light soiling/wear to mount edges and corners). Verso bears Brady's imprint along with ink and modern pencil inscriptions. -- Oval bust portrait of Lee in his CSA uniform (significant toning, soiling, wear/chipping to edges of image and mount). Uncredited. Verso with pencil inscriptions. -- Together, 2 cabinet card portraits of Robert E. Lee, each 4 x 5 3/4 in., or smaller, on cardstock mount.
