Aug. 7-9 Ann Arbor 1970 Blues Festival. Ann Arbor, MI: Seri-Graphics, [1970]. 14 x 22 in. poster printed on stiff poster board (near pristine condition apart from a small blemish near lower left corner). Central to the poster is an illustration of a large chain. Red and black text throughout announces festival schedule with performers, location, and ticket information. RARE: One of a very limited number of posters issued on stiff poster board.
[With:] Ann Arbor Blues Festival Program. Ann Arbor, MI, [1970]. 8 1/2 x 11 in., 60pp. (near excellent condition). The program is plentifully illustrated with images of the featured artists accompanied by detailed biographical information.
[Also with:] Look! Look! Look! 2 Nights, Every Friday and Saturday, Chicago's Own Luther Allison and his Blues & Soul band at A. & L. Club, 1422 South Pulaski Road - Chicago, Ill. Earl Park, IN: Tribune Press, ca 1970s. Additional imprint of "Nu-Ace Social Printers, 1316 S. Pulaski" [Chicago, IL] in lower margin. 14 x 22 in. poster printed on cardstock (colors vibrant, light creasing and bumping to corners, small pinholes in each corner). A portrait of Luther Allison with his guitar is featured at center.
