Lot Description
[WILD WEST SHOWS]. Buffalo Bill's "Wild West" and Congress of Rough Riders of the World. London: Weiners Ltd., 1903. Rare program with silk cover. 

7 x 10 in. silk program cover featuring portrait of William F. "Buffalo Bill" Cody on the front and the Union Jack and American flag crossed on the back (fraying to edges, some staining and light residue, few small areas of separation to silk). Contains 4pp. blue printed insert, 7 x 9 3/4 in., with a list of acts and performers included in the 14 March 1903 show held in Olympia, London (tape residue to margin of each page, chipping and some tearing to margins). RARE: A limited number of these silk programs were issued by Buffalo Bill's Wild West in honor of King Edward VII visiting the show.
