[CIVIL WAR]. Albumen photograph of a group of 11 identified soldiers.
7 3/4 x 5 1/2 in. albumen photograph on 9 x 7 in. thin cardstock mount (top edge of print and mount trimmed, heavy toning, loss, soiling, and other damage throughout). Period manuscript identification in lower margin of mount identifies subjects, some of which are difficult to discern. In part: W. Holcomb," "A. Root," "H. Nickerson," "J. Goddard," "E. Leach," and "S. Leach."
The subject on the far left wears first sergeant's chevrons on his frock coat, and various accoutrements and firearms rest to the side of the group.
