Lot Description
[CIVIL WAR]. Civil War-era militaria including belt, cap pouch, and field glasses.

Approx. 33 1/2 in. leather belt with "US" plate and arrow belt hooks (crackling and surface loss to belt leather throughout; surface wear including light oxidation to plate). Belt exterior retains partial stamp. -- Cap pouch with integral latch tab (cracking and surface loss to leather in certain areas; retains wool and pick). Inspector stamp on front flap "R. White / US Ord Dep / Sub Inspector." Belt loops, latch tab, and brass finial present. 

[With:] Field glasses, "Lefils / Paris" manufacturer. Brass and leather construction (heavy wear, peeling leather). Working condition. Approx. 6 1/2 in. (l) x 5 1/4 in. (w); approx. 8 1/2 in. length when fully extended including the lens shades on the front of barrels. -- Belt tongue. -- Cartridge box, possibly early reproduction with authentic US plate.
