FRENCH, RENAISSANCE REVIVAL, YELLOW GOLD, MULTIGEM AND POLYCHROME ENAMEL PENDANT
Architectural polychrome enamel and gem-set frame centered by a man clothed in drapery holding a dagger, in a grotesque style frame suspending pearl (origin not tested) and gem drops; verso decorated with polychrome enamel depicting a bird in scroll and foliate motifs. Mounted in 18 karat gold and silver. 3 x 1 3/4 inches.
