A Napoleon III Boulle Marquetry Upright Piano
Circa 1870-80
Height 49 x width 53 1/4 x depth 24 1/2 inches.

Serial number 25689.
Overall, the piano presents well for its age, but there are several condition issues that should be noted.
The front left foot and front scrolled support leg have been damaged. The piano is lacking the rear left caster. The lacquer and boulle is crazed, flaking, and clouded in several significant areas throughout the piano case and there are corresponding losses to the boulle and lacquer. The bronze mount along the front of the key cover is loose and bent and there are other loose mounts in select areas throughout the case.
The piano will need to be serviced/tuned.
