8vo. Original silver-lettered cloth, top edge stained blue; publisher's pictorial dust jacket (tear across lower portion of front and spine panel, price torn away from front flap, some light wear). 

FIRST EDITION. PRESENTATION COPY, INSCRIBED BY DeLILLO. DeLillo's scarce second novel is a light-hearted farce narrated by Gary Harkness, a blocking back on the Logos College football team in West Texas, detailing his experiences on the school's first integrated year.
