A French Porcelain Mounted Gilt Bronze Clock
19th Century
the clock movement marked G V and further numbered, one urn stamped Masselotte to the underside.
Height of mantel clock 20 x width 13 3/4 inches.

This lot is located in Palm Beach.
Condition Report
No winding key, pendulum or bell present. The minute hand is partially broken off. The hands can be manually advanced but otherwise it's unclear if the clock runs properly or keeps time accurately. The gilt broze and porcelain in attractive condition. There is some rubbing to the gilt decoration and loss to the raised "beading" decoration around the edges of the porcelain panels. The glaze to the porcelain otherwise bright and the panels apparently free of chips or cracks See additional photos.
