Lot Description
A Carved and Painted Wood and Sheet-Tin Circus Ringmaster Whirligig
19th Century
Height of figure 32 1/2 inches (with stem 41 inches).
This whirligig is thought to have been first located on a barn in Minnesota. It was bought from a yard sale and was soon owned a travelling family, moving four or five states over the next several years.
