In overall fine and stable condition, with light deposits of dust and grime to surface. Significant areas of raised craquelure throughout, with some associated areas of paint loss to lower right corner and mother's hand. Stretcher marks to perimeter of canvas, with bloom to varnish most apparent in background. Under UV light examination, filled cracks are visible, with additional areas of possible retouching to mother's hand.
