Two Treenware Chalices, 19th Century
19th Century
comprising a covered and a paint-decorated example.
Height of larger 8 1/4 inches.
This lot is located in Cincinnati.
Condition Report
Both in fine overall condition. 
Painted example: Stable crack to lower cup. Chip to rim of lower cup. Several areas of paint loss. Under UV light, shows a consistent varnished surface.
Lidded example: Retains rich early surface. Bored hole to underside of foot. Minor loss to underside of foot. Lid slightly warped, and does not sit flush.
