A Rare Pilgrim Century Black Painted Pine One-Drawer 'M' Chest
Plymouth Area, Massachusetts, Circa 1700
retains an early painted surface, previously fitted with a till box and cover, but never installed.
Height 27 1/4 x width 39 1/2 x depth 17 inches.

Condition Report
In overall fine and usable condition. Appears to retain the original bale and snipe hinges. Scuffs, marks, and scratches consistent with age and use. Areas of surface residue visible in few areas. Previously fitted with a till box and cover, but never installed. The drawer pulls, while seemingly of the period and showing wear marks suggesting they’ve been in place for a long time, may be replaced. Areas of chip losses visible to the feet.
