Condition Report
Framed: 31 x 27 3/8 inches.
In overall fine and stable condition, with fine network of craquelure spanning nose bridge and lower forehead. right scratches to lower left corner and throughout background. Light deposits and dust and grime throughout, with bumpiness/textural irregularities to background near sitter. Slight warp overall to ground, with light areas of water staining visible to paperboard verso. Pinhole to lower left corner of verso, with bumping and minor losses to all corners. Examination under UV light suggests that a chair may have been present at one time in to composition, given areas of fluorescence to sitter's right and arms; strong areas of green visible solely to sitter's left sleeve.
