Lot Description
Set of Japanese Daisho Wedding Gift Koshirae

Matched set of daisho koshirae believed to have been a wedding gift. Both katana and wakizashi have black ito, white same, gold seppas, plain black kashira, and black fuchi showing two family crests. Tsubas are both pierced iron. Sayas are polished black-brown lacquer with single kurikatas. Wakizashi has matching menuki that appear to be representative of Daruma. Katana menuki are matching crabs. Items are included with embroidered silk carry bags.

Condition Report

Very good. Sayas have a few minor flakes and losses scattered overall.
