The top of the receiver is marked P-H M85 CAL. 7.62X51mm/MADE IN ENGLAND. The bolt has a matching serial number applied via electropen as is correct for this model. Comes with an unsigned scope mount with one inch rings that attaches to the dovetails on the receiver and features a cutout for the rear sight. The scope base is unsigned, and neither the barrel nor receiver show the Birmingham proof markings typically encountered on this rifle suggesting it was assembled from parts left over after Parker Hale's dissolution.
