Minor deposits of surface dirt and dust; canvas is not lined; network of craquelures throughout, mostly visible only under close examination; one small area of inpainting visible under strong light in the lower corner; pinpoint accretions adhered to surface along extreme center right edge and in upper left corner; one very small brown stain in woman's upper back. Under UV light: aforementioned areas fluoresce, including stain; small dots of paint in the woman's lower back fluoresce, but may be due to original pigment; pigments in the drapery over the woman's lap fluoresce, but this may also be a result of the pigments used. Additional images available upon request.
