Lot Description
Kubur Converted to Percussion
.52 Caliber. 11" barrel length. SN: NSN. Bright metal finish with brass and coper securing bands and mother of pearl inlaid designs to the walnut stocks. Single shot percussion converted smoothbore pistol with flared canon muzzle and no sights. Lockplate shows light wheat scroll to the border enclosing spiral scroll engraving. Butt is cut for a pommel cap but none is currently mounted. Tang shows the remnants of a rear notch sight likely ground down turing refinish and conversion. Breech of the barrel struck with an illegible maker mark.

Condition Report
Good. Bore is Very Dark with oxidation and pitting throughout. Metal finish is a mottled gray patina overall with brown forming over the hammer and at the muzzle. All brass and copper components are tarnished. Stock shows handling wear, mars, and light dents overall with rounded edges suggestive of sanding, and a crack through the wrist that has ben repaired with adhesive. Action fails to enter full cock with the sear spring unable to engage fully.
