Lot Description
**Winchester Model 12 Trench Configuration Refinished
12 Gauge. 20.875" barrel length. SN: 1012065. 2.75" chamber length. Cylinder bore. Parkerized metal refinish and polished bolt with walnut semi-pistol grip stock mounting WINCHESTER marked hard rubber buttplate and four-row combination heat shield and bayonet lug. Slide-action repeating hammerless shotgun fed by tube magazine beneath the barrel. Item shows the correct manufacturer markings on the barrel reading MADE IN NEW HAVEN. CONN. U.S. OF AMERICA/WINCHESTER PROOF STEEL followed by WINCHESTER/TRADE MARK and finally MODEL 12-12 GA.-2 3/4 CHAM/CYL. Right receiver has been struck U.S. followed by the {Ordnance Bomb} marking. Further {Ordnance Bomb} visible to the top of the barrel beside the WP monogram proof. Serial number for this shotgun falls within the range for genuine Model 12 Trench Guns, but it lacks the cartouches typically applied to the wood. Item mounts an unmarked green canvas Nobuckl pattern sling.

Condition Report
Very Good as refinished. Bore is Very Bright with some firing residues and dust. Parkerized refinish shows some cycling wear and some lubricant residues to the seams. Bolt shows flecked gray patina forming. Stock has some light handling dents but retains its finish and edges. Buttplate has an indentation to the right edge.
