**Smith & Wesson .38 Safety Hammerless Fourth Model
.38 S&W. 3.25" barrel length. SN: 204476. Nickel plated finish overall with triggerguard, latch, and extractor with Smith & Wesson logo hardrubber grips. DAO hammerless five-shot top-break auto-ejector revolver with pinned hemispherical front blade and latch mounted rear notch sights. Displays caliber marking 38 S.&W. CTG to the left barrel and with the monogram trade mark to the right. Top of the fluted barrel rib is marked with the two line address and patent mark SMITH & WESSON SPRINGFIELD MASS. U.S.A./PAT'D OCT. 2. 1883. AUG. 4. 1885. APRIL 9. 1889. Serial numbers match on the latch, barrel, cylinder, frame, and beneath the star extractor.

Condition Report
Very Good. Bore is Bright with crisp rifling throughout. The nickel finish shows moisture flecking overall with some pinpoint patina forming in losses, and along the edges of the cylinder and frame. Nickel finish thinning to milky in some places. The blued finish is worn with brown patina forming in the losses on the latch and triggerguard. Grips retain fine details with some scratches. Action displays good timing.
