Lot Description
**Smith & Wesson K-22 Outdoorsman
.22 LR. 6" barrel length. SN: 644603. Blued metal finish with casehardened hammer and trigger mounting diamond checkered walnut Smith & Wesson medallion grips. Double action hand ejector six-shot revolver featuring a round barrel and smooth topstrap. Item mounts adjustable target rear notch and pinned Patridge front blade sights on a five screw frame with pinned barrel and a recessed cylinder. Rear sight fits proud of the topstrap indicating replacement. Left frame is struck with Smith & Wesson's monogram trade mark with the right frame marked MADE IN U.S.A. Barrel flanks show standard caliber and manufacturer marking with the top showing two-line address and patent marking reading SMITH & WESSON SPRINGFIELD MASS. U.S.A./PATENTED FEB. 6. 06. SEPT. 14. 09. DEC. 29. 14. Rear surface of the hammer is also marked REG. U.S. PAT OFF.

Condition Report
Poor to Fair. Bore is Bright with crisp rifling and two patches of patina forming. Blued metal finish shows a pronounced drag line to the cylinder and some muzzle wear with further scattered light scratches overall. Deep barrel color suggests that component has been refinished. Some edgewear over the frame with further scratches and some flaking along the gripstraps and triggerguard. Brown patina forming in losses. Case colors show some weakness with the trigger displaying pinpoint patina and a gray patina over the handling surfaces. Front sight shows deformations on the edges suggesting aggressive cleaning. Grips show some handling wear, light mars, and stains overall. Action fails to consistently cock the hammer and requires repair.
