Lot Description

*Post-War Walther PP in Original Box

.32 ACP. 3.9" barrel length. SN: 472666. Blued metal finish with black synthetic {WALTHER} banner grips mounting a lanyard loop to the butt, and its original black polymer box. Simple blowback operated DA/SA autoloading pistol fed by detachable single stack magazines. Item features standard two dot sights on a matted rib. Right frame is import marked and reads C.I.A. GEORGIA VT. Standard German manufacture proofs to major components with the right frame additionally showing the ID date code indicating the pistol was manufactured in 1983. Standard make and model markings on the left slide read Carl Walther Waffenfabrik Ulm/Do. Made in/{WALTHER} Modell PP Cal. 7.65 mm W. Germany. Comes in a black plastic box with intact sticker label matching the serial number of the handgun. Comes with two synthetic floorplate magazines, both with the last three digits of the serial number electro-penciled into them. Also included are a synthetic cleaning rod, nylon bore brush, owner's manual, and factory test target.

Condition Report

Good to Very Good. Bore is Very Bright with crisp rifling throughout. Slide finish displays light wear at the flanks of the muzzle, with scattered light mars and scratches along both sides of the slide. Finish is scuffed in three places behind the ejection port. Frame finish has light edgewear and cycling wear, along with a nick along the rear edge of the barrel boss just above the extractor cut. The grips have some light scratches surrounding the screw holes, and further light scratches and mars overall. Both magazines retain most of their bluing with light insertion wear. Sticker label on the plastic case is peeling along its lower edges, and the nylon bore brush is dusty and yellowed with some use. Some string is wound up in the bore brush.
