* Colt Detective Special in Box

.38 Special. 2" barrel length. SN: AE1025. Blued metal finish with polished hammer flanks mounting black rubber Colt medallion grips. Double action six-shot hand ejector revolver mounting topstrap notch and smooth front ramp sights. The left barrel shows the model and caliber marking DETECTIVE SPEC./.38 SPECIAL CTG. and the right side displays Colt's two-line address reading COLT'S PT. F.A. MFG. CO./HARTFORD. CONN. U.S.A. Further markings include Colt's VP monogram proof to the triggerguard and a {Rampant Colt} logo on the sideplate.

Condition Report

Very Good. Bore is Very Bright with some oil residue that should clean to Minty with sharp rifling. Blued finish shows a light drag line to the cylinder and a light abrasion to the right muzzle. Left side of the hammer has a spot of gray patina while the right shows some lubricant residues. Grips retain fine details. Action shows good timing.
